We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Planning and Control Head to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, with expertise in production planning, scheduling, and control processes. The Production Planning and Control Head will play a crucial role in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities - Develop and implement production planning strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize lead times.
- Create production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets and customer demand.
- Coordinate with various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor production processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze production data and trends to forecast future demand and adjust production plans accordingly.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory, optimizing working capital.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to introduce new products and improve existing processes.
- Implement and maintain production planning and control systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data.
- Lead and develop a team of production planners and schedulers, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in production planning and control, incorporating new methodologies and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in production planning and control roles within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems. Experience with Hnadling Teams,Knowledge production cycle and Audits
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving production targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Certification in production and inventory management (e.g., APICS CPIM) is desirable.
