About Sonata Information Technology Limited (SITL) & It’s Business SITL is in the business of being the preferred IT partner for sourcing, implementing, integrating, and managing the IT Infrastructure, Cloud, Hybrid & On-premises, for Indian customers. Currently most of the Indian enterprises are in the process of their business transformation to cater to their customers expectation in the new digital world. This business transformation process inherently requires the enterprises to modernize their various processes and to either move their existing businesses to platforms or create new business platforms. This platformation process needs a solid new plumbing at the IT infrastructure level. And this is where SITL’s current objective is to be the preferred IT Infrastructure SI partner for our existing & new customers. SITL’s endeavour is to associate with customer’s complete infrastructure modernization journey starting with planning leading to product & technology selection, assisting the customer in sourcing and then implementing & integrating all these products & solutions as a part of infrastructure modernization / system integration engagement. After modernization of the customer’s IT infrastructure environment, SITL also gets engage in long term management of the same.

To fulfil the current customer’s expectation around IT Infrastructure modernization & management, SITL has partnerships & competencies on following areas:

Cloud Hyperscalers: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud etc. Softwares, Platforms & Tools: Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Microfocus, Adobe, SAP, Siemens, Citrix, Redhat, Quest Software, Veritas, Github, vmware, Informatica, Cloudera, Freshworks, ServiceNow, Zoho etc. IT Servers, Storages & Networking: IBM, HP, CISCO, Dell, Nutanix, Veeam, NetApp etc. IT Security Solutions: Broadcom (Symantec), F5 networks, SentinalOne, PaloAlto, Netskope, IBM Security, Solarwinds, Check points, Fortinet, F-secure, Barracuda, RSA etc .

Besides the above products and solutions, SITL also has business group which helps the customers in sourcing, implementing & integrating many other 3rd Party products & solutions, which are required during the infra modernization & system integration works. To support the above initiatives, SITL is expanding their business development team and looking for a dynamic BDM, with an MBA & 4-5 years of field selling experience on cloud technologies to corporates, Small and Medium Businesses. Preference would be given for persons with knowledge in Microsoft Technologies like O365/M365- Security, Azure etc.

Job Description – Business Development Manger Location – Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore (4 positions-1 each per location)

Responsibilities: Will be responsible for MSFT Cloud Sales – O365 / M365/ Security and Azure sales for the region through various licensing programs. Should have sold MSFT Cloud solutions to end customers and possess basic sales certifications. Should have good understanding of cloud infrastructure and should be able to understand the customer requirements. Should have ability to take discussions regarding cloud aspects with CXO’s/Application Head at customer place and articulate cloud offerings. Should be able to work / leverage our technical team and present our solutions to customers. Should be well versed with MSFT Cloud and Azure pricing calculations, work on the Solution BOM (Bill of Material) for the same. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Meet existing customers to unearth cloud opportunities and meet new customers to generate leads & close deals. Coordinate with the local account (sales) teams to jointly take up prospect/customer meetings. Work closely with regional MSFT partner mangers / Account Managers / Presales team to source leads, market intelligence and get opportunities/deals; participate in regional cloud events/trade shows

Requirements: Bachelors / master’s in technology / Business 4-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the software reseller industry. Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead a sales process from initial contact to order negotiation and closing. Knowledge of software especially Cloud trends Field sales experience in the local region is a must.
