SOHUM is an initiative by a Harvard graduate who has also served at the leadership positions at the
Harvard University, the University of Toronto and SEWA Bharat. Aiming to build a presence in India and GCC countries, SOHUM intends to cater to the needs of students with different programs who are at different stages of their educational journey. Our programs are designed to empower high-schoolers who strive to become a global citizen. From programs such as Life-changing Year Fellowship for those who wish to take a Gap year post 12th to multiple field-based immersion programs (both international and in India) are uniquely curated for the wholesome development of high schoolers as future global leaders. Position Title: Associate- Program & Strategy Job Location: Office based in Mayur Vihar, Delhi Timings: Monday-Saturday, 10 am- 6:30 pm Job Overview: We are looking for a bright and dynamic team mate, who is a quick learner, a doer and someone who is ready to align with our organisational goals and philosophy. You will play a crucial role in executing our GEG (Global Education Gateway) and international immersion programs. By working closely with the founder, you will contribute in executing a transformative experience for students seeking education abroad and want to build their profile. GEG Program (Global Education Gateway): Devise and implement effective strategies to promote the international study program, targeting key audiences and maximising program visibility. Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide detailed information about our services, and build strong relationships to foster trust and satisfaction. Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their engagement with GEG. International Immersion Program: Conduct thorough research on potential colleges worldwide, assessing their academic reputation, program offerings, and cultural compatibility with our international immersion goals. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities and potential partnership prospects. Develop a comprehensive strategy for expanding our international immersion program through targeted partnerships with colleges. Collaborate with key stakeholders and maintain strong relationships with colleges/Universities to establish fruitful partnerships for our international immersion program. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of relevant work experience OR have completed Masters in relevant field with 1 year of experience. Candidates with English (H) or MA in English will be given preference. Demonstrated experience in program management, client engagement, and strategic thinking. Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to identify and assess potential opportunities. Strong interest in education, career development and study abroad. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proven track record of successful deal closure and client satisfaction. Candidates should be able to start immediately.
