Position: Senior Ticketing Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Ticketing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a similar role. The candidate will be responsible for providing ticketing and reservation services to travel agents and clients. This role requires the candidate to work in UK shifts, covering a 24/7 operation. Strong communication skills, knowledge of GDS systems, and a sound understanding of the airline and travel industry are key to succeeding in this position.

Responsibilities :

1. Communicate effectively with travel agents to understand their requirements and provide appropriate ticketing solutions.
2. Respond to flight and fare inquiries promptly and accurately, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
3. Utilize GDS systems, including Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre, to search, book, and manage flight reservations.
4. Demonstrate a solid understanding of fare types, contracts, and the ability to read and comprehend fare rules.
5. Assist travel agents with reservation and ticketing queries, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team targets, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
7. Stay updated with industry trends, airline policies, and regulatory changes that may impact ticketing and reservations.
8. Maintain accurate records of ticketing transactions, interactions with travel agents, and other relevant data.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the travel industry in a ticketing or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of GDS systems, particularly Amadeus(Preferred), Galileo, and Sabre
3. Familiarity with fare types, contracts, and the ability to read and comprehend fare rules.
4. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
5. Good analytical skills to interpret data and situations accurately.
6. Sound understanding of the airline, aviation, and travel industry.
7. Experience in B2B market or airline sales is a plus.
8. Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a valuable team player.
9. Must have their own conveyance for commuting to and from the workplace.
10. Willingness to work in UK shifts, covering a 24/7 operation.

Working Conditions

• The position is based in New Delhi but soon shifting to Noida
• Five days working in a seven-day week.
• The role requires working in UK shifts to cater to clients in different time zones.
• Occasional travel for training or meetings may be required.
