Job description

Location: Bangalore, Chennai

Responsibilities:

Responsible for evaluating safety goals, functional safety requirements; and safety concept
Perform system safety analysis
Generate technical safety requirement (detailed product safety requirement)
Generate technical safety concept (system architecture)
Generate executable simulation model to analyze feasibility and verify completeness of technical safety concept
Generate product functional test plan (compliance testing)
Perform product functional testing on test bench
Support customer test and validation programs

Qualifications:

University degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in Automotive domain as Functional Safety Engineer.
Strong knowledge on ISO26262 system development process
Experience on safety analysis (HARA, FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, SW Freedom from Interference)
Understanding of vehicle electronic requirements and power electronics systems requirements
Good foundation knowledge of both hardware and software
Knowledge of automotive environments and processes (Automotive SPICE
Good communication skills
