Roles and Responsibilities: Job Title: Business Development Manager - DeepTech Solutions Role Overview: As the Business Development Manager for DeepTech Solutions, you will be instrumental in fostering collaboration between our internal research teams and external stakeholders to bring groundbreaking technologies to market. This role demands a balance between understanding the intricacies of our DeepTech offerings and identifying market opportunities for their application. Responsibilities: Inward-Facing: 1. Collaborate closely with internal research and development teams to grasp the technical nuances of DeepTech products and solutions. 2. Evaluate the commercial potential of emerging technologies, working in tandem with researchers to understand the unique value propositions and applications. 3. Facilitate effective communication and knowledge transfer between research teams and other business units to ensure a unified understanding of product capabilities and market positioning. 4. Work closely with the intellectual property team to comprehend and strategize around patent landscapes. Outward-Facing: 1. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes in the DeepTech sector. 2. Build and nurture strategic relationships with key external stakeholders, including industry partners, clients, and potential collaborators. 3. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies for product promotion, brand positioning, and market expansion. 4. Identify and pursue business development opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to enhance the market presence of our DeepTech solutions. 5. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the leadership team on market dynamics, competitor analysis, and potential areas for product development. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying business opportunities, building, and maintaining successful relationships with clients, and driving the growth of the company. The role involves developing and implementing strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. Key Responsibilities: Market Analysis Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends. Analyze competitors and industry trends to stay ahead in the market. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Identify key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions. New Business Development Identify and approach potential clients to generate new business. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets. Present company products/services to potential clients and address their inquiries. Revenue Generation Proposal and Contract Negotiation Prepare and present compelling business proposals. Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with other departments (such as marketing, product development, and finance) to align business strategies. Provide feedback from clients to inform product/service enhancements.
