Job Description
GENERAL DUTIES:
- In charge of the day-to-day issues pertaining to the utility area operations – electrical equipment. Strict adherence to preventive & scheduled maintenance of the electrical equipment and monitoring of the wirings, fixtures, appliances, motors, generators, power circuits, controllers of machines and elevators, needed repairs and / or replacement does the necessary repairs and installation work.
- Installs, maintain, inspects, repairs, and services light feeder, generating and control equipment, relays transformer, motors, pumps, switches, outlets, signal systems and other electrical wiring cables , fixtures and appliances of varies types.
- Lubrication and maintaining the electrical fixtures, appliances & other equipment in good condition
- Operations of the DG set and monitoring, recording and logging of the same.
- Troubleshooting for the malfunction and breakdowns of the equipment. and ensuring optimum performance of the electrical equipment as per the stipulated parameters and reporting to seniors in case of irregularities / variations
- Round the clock monitoring of the equipment & the versatile electrical systems
- Carrying out daily monitoring of all operation and preventive maintenance activities with the help of various checklists, log sheets & preventive schedules.

- Assist the Assistant Engineer and Engineering Supervisor in the day to day activities of the operations and maintenance / repair of all engineering related plants, equipment, building services, general installations work carried out by the Engineering Department.
- To control and check all the equipment related to the AC Section.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of Ibis Pune.
- Ensure to handle and maintain all equipments as per the standards.
- Any matter which may affect the interests of ACCOR should be brought to the attention of the Management.
- To abide by the mission statement of the Company and of the department.
- Facilitates the functioning of and / or oversees the functioning of Housekeeping Department or any other Department in the Hotel when necessitated by circumstances and as mandated by the General Manager. This would be over and above regular stipulated responsibilities and duties
Qualifications
- Good basic English
- Experience and knowledge of modern hotel rooms facilities equipment and set-ups.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Secondary School + Technical College or equal.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years Electrical/HVAC installation or maintenance experience preferably in Industrial – Commercial Projects. Hotels – Hospitals experience
