Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in Ahmedabad. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales and business development activities for the assigned area, ensuring achievement of sales targets. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, driving customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Additionally, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and training the sales team to ensure their effectiveness in achieving sales targets.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales and business development
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop insights
• Sound knowledge of the banking industry and financial products
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a sales team
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• Prior experience in the banking industry is preferred
• Knowledge of the local market and language proficiency in Gujarati would be an added advantage
