Job Description:

The Secondary School Teacher in Biology is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating engaging lessons that align with the school's curriculum and mission. The teacher will facilitate student learning in biology and encourage critical thinking, collaboration and hands-on experiences in the classroom. The teacher will also be responsible for assessing student progress and providing individualized support to ensure student success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology or a related field
• Teaching certification or license in the subject area
• Proven experience teaching secondary school students
• Strong knowledge of biology and current educational trends and methods
• Ability to integrate technology and hands-on activities into lessons
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents
• Passion for inspiring and guiding students to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing engaging and effective lesson plans in accordance with the school curriculum
• Assessing student progress and providing individualized support to ensure student success
• Encouraging critical thinking, collaboration, and hands-on experiences in the classroom
