Job description
Requirements:
- 3+ years RPA development experience
- Significant RPA development
- skills for creating RPA automations that integrate with external systems through APIs, navigate regulatory requirements, or tackle complex decision logic or large numbers of iterations. This includes demonstrated 'Document and Data Processing' experience (extracting data from business applications and documents and preparing that data for use in automation.)
- Software Life Cycle Management: appreciation and practice of RPA software life cycle practices, including documentation, testing and change management, that ensure that code is secure and reliable.
Platform Operation:
- Troubleshooting, Debugging, Maintenance and operation of the RPA platform to ensure reliability of the environment including ability to identify the root cause of a problem in any phases of the RPA life cycle.
- Automation Architecture - The ability to compare different automation approaches and identify the optimal approach for each use case.
- API Integration - Skills in integrating external systems through SOAP or REST APIs and handling the programmatic response.
- Other Development Languages - Creating elements of an automation using other software development languages that might be particularly well-suited for the task and embedding those in an RPA script. Java, Microservices, Rest API, SQL
- Enterprise Applications -Understanding the use and architecture of various enterprise applications that underpin business processes to enforce business rules and optimize integration.
Specialized/Emerging Skills:
- Process and Task Mining - The application of tools that generate flow diagrams of a process, detailing every step, every decision fork, the duration of each step, the variations of a process and more.
- Machine Learning and AI - Incorporating external machine learning systems to tackle use cases that require classification, prediction or pattern detection.
- Reporting and Dashboarding - Extending the monitoring capabilities of the RPA platform by combining RPA operations data with business data to more clearly measure and report the impact of the RPA automation.
