We offer:

You will work in APM Terminals, a vital part of the Maersk group, where vessels reach the harbor, and cargo gets from ocean to land transport. We develop the business-critical digital solutions to support our shipping line and landside customers. The applications we develop is a mix of internal and external systems, putting emphasis on performing necessary tasks to ensure frictionless cargo movement, bringing reliability and predictability to our customers so that they can plan they supply chain in advance to optimize for cost, time, risk mitigation and CO2 emissions. As a UX/UI designer you will gain broad business knowledge of the company's activities globally, as well as understand how the complexity of technology supports the transport and logistics business.
You will be exposed to a wide and challenging range of business issues through regular engagement with key stakeholders across all management levels within APMT and partner with other designer from both APMT and Maersk.

Key responsibilities:

As a UX/UI Designer at Maersk, your role is critical for the digital transformation happening at APMT. You'll be at the heart of it all, from understanding user needs to delivering delightful digital experiences. Here's a glimpse of your key responsibilities:

- User centric approach: You are able to gather user insigths, from surveys, usability testing, analytics, etc. Can prioritise and define approaches to understand and build personas and user journeys, guiding others in doing so.

- Design execution : Create designs for new features, ranging from site maps, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, to production-ready specs.

- Collaborative Innovation: You'll collaborate with a diverse, cross-disciplinary team including Product Managers, Product Owners, Software Engineers and subject matter experts. Together, you'll engage with business and regional stakeholders, always keeping the customer, business, operations, and technical aspects in mind.

- Visual flair: Demonstratesunderstandingof layout, typography and visual hierarchy. Uses our Design System, as well as our brand guidelines and previous Product Design work to produce designs that are visually cohesive with the rest of Maersk's and APMT's digital solutions,with a holistic consideration for their product's future.

- Technical understanding: Can identify and understand constraints, regarding systems, devices or components and is able to communicate these and work within them. Is able to challenge the validity of constraints.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of relevant experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools Figma and Miro

- A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think critically.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with user testing and an eagerness to implement feedback into design iterations.

- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent work experience).

- We are seeking individuals with a total work experience of 5 years or more.
