The Opportunity As we move forward to unlock the full potential of Cairn assets, towards achieving the objectives of Maximizing Production and Reserves and Resource Replacement , Delivering on Growth Opportunities , and Cost Optimization , we are pleased to invite mid to senior level Global Technical Experts with extensive experience in mid to large size Oil and Gas E&P Companies. We are seeking to engage proven global experts with extensive experience across a variety of asset types and technologies - Tight Oil, Unconventionals, Coalbed Methane, Deepwater, advanced EOR including polymer, ASP, CO2 EOR, thermal, and CCUS . We are particularly interested in professionals with demonstrated and consistent track record of contributing towards growth, within highly respected E & P operators. Our Portfolio Cairn has a clear and ambitious strategy to simultaneously develop an extremely diverse portfolio of assets is looking to build knowledge, experience, and expertise within the following areas: Unconventionals and CBM: The promising initial results from our first shale exploration wells could offer a transformative moment for India's energy sector, similar to the impact shale had in the USA. We will further explore and appraise – aiming to rapidly commercialise these potentially significant resources – along with our recently acquired Coalbed Methane (CBM) resource. EOR: Cairn is a global leader in Polymer and ASP adoption, highlighted by one of the world's largest Polymer flood projects, and one of the world’s largest ASP projects to be implemented. We are continuously seeking a deeper understanding of these technologies as we seek to increase recovered volumes from our assets and extend their life. In addition, we are also looking at potential application of thermal (steam flood) and CO2 based EOR opportunity in some of our fields and are in the process of screening all the reservoirs. Carbon Capture: We are determined to become a leader in carbon capture technology in India. With an initial focus on direct capture, CCUS (carbon capture, utilization, and storage), and other methods. We will be relentless in pursuing innovative solutions that reduce our carbon footprint for every barrel or molecule produced. Exploration We have accumulated an attractive portfolio of over sixty exploration licenses spanning over 60,000 sq. km. We believe this acreage holds significant recoverable hydrocarbons and will explore it aggressively. Our aim is to fast-track the process, rapidly creating a consistent and robust inventory of world-class drillable prospects. Deepwater: Deepwater exploration offers the potential for significant discoveries to contribute to India's energy security. Cairn is building a leading position and will focus on acquiring and developing specialized skills and technologies tailored to the challenges of this environment. Tight Oil: In 2021, we brought on stream out first tight oil asset (ABH development). We are confident we have significant reserves from which we can produce Oil from tight rock. In fact, we envision it has the potential to contribute up to 20% of our total production. Viscous Oil: We have been producing heavy oil in our Rajasthan block for 16 years, yet we have recovered less than 20% of the oil we know is there. Our stated aim is to drive overall oil recovery to over 60% which is why we are committed to adopting technologies and methods. Self-Installing Platforms: We anticipate taking FID on a couple of shallow water developments and believe SIP (Self Installing Platforms) could expedite these projects. We are focused on enhancing our design and project management capabilities to streamline development processes and deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions for offshore projects. Technology: Technology is an integrator and driver at Cairn, and we have we have a history of technology adoption. We are actively seeking talent with expertise in global technologies such as AI, Big Data, IoT and support India's upstream sector. Some examples technology adoption.
