Job Title: Cargo & Ramp Supervisor
Function: Operations
Location: Mumbai – Andheri
Reporting to: Duty Supervisor / Manager Operations / Head of Operations
A. Position OBJECTIVE:
ð We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cargo & Ramp Supervisor to join our aviation operations team.
ð The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing cargo operations and managing the flight operations while aircraft is on ground to ensure efficient and safe handling of cargo.
ð The Cargo & Ramp Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, implementing operational procedures, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
B. KEY Position Responsibilities:
Sr. Key Responsibilities
1
The candidate will be required to:
1) Monitor built-up of cargo
2) Make sure the cargo is tied down as per airline SOP
3) Ensure odd-sized cargo is built as per airline SOP [shoring])
4) Keep Airline appraised on the progress of built-up/on ground operational progress
5) Identify potential risks that can cause delays and suggest mitigation plan for the same

Supervise and coordinate ramp activities, including aircraft loading and unloading and other operational services on the ground.

Maintain clear and effective communication with air traffic control, ground crew, and other relevant personnel to ensure smooth operations.

Liaison with airline partners, customs authorities, and other relevant ground authorities to facilitate efficient cargo operations
5
Conduct regular due diligence to identify and address any issues related to ground operations and process gaps
6
Coordinate with relevant authorities and internal teams in the event of emergencies
7
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to ramp activities, including cargo handling.

Actively participate in training sessions provided by senior team members to enhance knowledge of cargo operations, safety protocols, and compliance requirements
9
Follow safety and security procedures for cargo handling
10
Willing to work in rotational shifts.
C. Qualifications and Experience Requirement
Qualifications
Academics
Bachelor's degree
Work Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in Ramp Handling / Cargo Supervision
Basic knowledge of cargo operations or relevant coursework is a plus
Airline trainings in cargo handling will be a plus
D. Competency Requirements

· Working knowledge of MS Office
· Familiarity with load plans and load sheets using industry-standard platforms would be an added advantage
Industry Knowledge
· Knowledge of Cargo Aircraft configuration (Airbus and Boeing)
