Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyse Buying Grid (plan of what needs to be bought before commencement of the roadshow). Grade and classify products for each store. Prepare Planogram along with the Visual Merchandizing team. Analyse top sellers and bottom sellers in stores. Maximize sales by holding optimal levels of inventory. Minimize returns from stores. Plan for discounts in stores along with Operations and Buying team. Plan for promotions according to stores. Plan and monitor the Open to Buy (OTB) for the next season. Prioritize OTB according to stores. Provide OTB to the Buying team. Design the weekly Fill rate. Analyse sell-throughs (analyse customer buying patterns and predict future trends). Provide recommendations to Planning and Operations team on promotion of products. Adhere to the discount budgets and help in maximizing sales & adhere to guidelines for providing discounts in accordance with the budget provided for MRP and RRP Participate in promotional events, road shows etc, Interact with Operations team and drive efficiencies through team collaboration. Build a strong, customer focused team. Organize training and development for the team. Ensure the performance of the team is assessed periodically and provide adequate feedback. Essential Qualification & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Design from NIFT with 3 - 6 years of experience in Retail merchandise Planner for EBO Stores at Corporate Office. Excellent Communication skills, Analytical skills, Execution Focus, Financial Acumen, Problem Solving. Experience in fashion Retail / Branded Apparel industry experience. A Commercial understanding of the dynamics of Stores, sales analysis.Job tags
