We are seeking a skilled Sales Trainer who will play a pivotal role in enhancing the sales team's performance and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets. The Sales Trainer will design, implement, and execute training programs tailored to our publishing industry, equipping our sales force with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to excel in their roles.
In this role, you will:
- Develop comprehensive sales training programs aligned with the publishing industry's needs, including sales techniques, product knowledge, customer engagement, and market trends.
- Conduct engaging and informative training sessions, workshops, and seminars for sales personnel, both in-person and through virtual platforms.
- Develop individualized training plans for team members who are in PIP.
- Create training materials, presentations, and resources such as manuals, videos, and online modules to support ongoing learning and development initiatives.
- Identify areas for improvement within the sales team and tailor training interventions to address these gaps
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Work closely with sales managers, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of training initiatives with business goals and strategies.
- Stay updated with current market trends and best practices in sales training and incorporate relevant advancements into training programs.
A PERFECT CANDIDATE HAS:
- Proven 2-3 years experience as a Sales Trainer.
- In-depth understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and customer-centric approaches.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate audiences.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various training initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in creating training materials and utilizing diverse training methodologies.
