Conducting survey and assessment of potential areas for carrying out Solid Waste Management (SWM) within the State.
.Planning and strategy formulation along-with District Sanitation Team for SWM etc. initiatives within the State.
.Technical assistance to State/District Sanitation Team for preparing and finalizing Detailed Project Reports (DPR) and ensuring their effective implementation in time-bound manner., Conducting periodic review of status of DPRs and devise monitoring and evaluation strategy.
.Undertake regular field visits for supervising and providing direction in the implementation of the project identify and resolve constraints and challenges faced on field by District team both at Block, GP & village level
.Design / develop appropriate technologies that are socially acceptable and environmentally safe for SWM, etc.
.Monitoring and evaluation of ODF plus villages
.Convergence among JJM, SBM(G), MNREGA, 15th FC tied grant etc.
.Provide necessary support to State/District Sanitation team in preparation of various training modules for strengthening of communities.
.Support the State/District Sanitation team in developing & monitoring GOBARDHAN Project/plant
.Selection of GP/VC to declare Aspiring, Rising and Model ODF Plus villages..
.Networking and Liasoning with other Government departments and NGOs or civil society organizations for encouraging cross-learning and inter-departmental convergence during various events under Sanitation programme.
.Ensuring up-dation of data on SWM, etc in coordination with Consultant (IMIS).
.Monitoring and coordination of ISA activities under JJM
.Participate and contribute to the review meetings of State Govt.& Govt. of India.
.Participate in knowledge sharing meetings with State team members
.Provide clarifications to stakeholders on SWM as needed
.Undertake any other assignment as directed by the Authority.
