Job description

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Candidate will be responsible to manage a team (02-03 people) to formalize and ensure Company Group Tender Desk rules, responsibility & methodology both at Local & with Global level • Manage the team and distribute the workload to attend Global Tenders/ RFQ/ RFI/ Locally Controlled RFQs for Key Accounts, Data management, better archive, and rate collection from entities. • Lead & Encourage the team for strong follow-up with cross functional departments & communication with network - Life cycle management of all service requests. • Trouble shooter – related with rates during bidding process or post-award. • Supervision on coordination with all the entities at regional, commercial and procurement /operational teams for inputs as well as global network • Analyze & evaluate previous tenders pricing results thereafter to ensure competitive pricing for all future biddings. • Should be confidently able to manage Tender Sales sign-off & other relevant meetings with (Sales Team) & Top Management. • Should be able to encourage team towards Strategic Thinking, Innovation and Decision Making . • Should be self-aware and prioritize Personal Development and Team’s development.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE : • 10-12 Years of functional know-how in air- and ocean freight and supply chain management. Preferably worked as sales support/ Tender Management / RFQ pricing for the sales team to prepare quotations or supported pricing in respective profiles. • Understanding of operational forwarding processes. • Knowledge of forwarding and supply chain management systems. • Understanding of Bollore Group (strategy and products). • Market knowledge (customers, air-and ocean freight rates/services).

Skills & Competencies • Proactive self-starter, able to work in a matrix in support of the regional area of sales & operational organizations. • Able to manage cross-functional interfaces (Operations, Air- and Ocean Freight, SCM). • Strong leadership, management & negotiations skills • Organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign and control). • Analytical Skills (Analyzing Referrals / Creative Thinking). • Ability to read, interprets, and analyze RFI and RFQ document in a timely manner. • Result oriented and customer focused. • Detail oriented. • Maintain composure while working under tight deadlines. • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening).

Computer Literacy • Excellent know-how of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).

Language Proficiency • Fluent in English and preferably other languages.
