Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at BeeKayIT NetSec Solutions Pvt Ltd. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing hardware maintenance and software installations, configuring networks, and providing general IT support.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of desktop hardware and software
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Experience in hardware maintenance and component replacement
- Familiarity with software installation and operating system configuration
- Basic understanding of network protocols and configurations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, are a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding hardware and software issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems in a timely manner
- Perform hardware maintenance, including upgrading components and replacing faulty parts
- Install and configure software applications and operating systems
- Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting
- Provide general IT support and assist with IT-related projects
- Ensure all support requests are properly documented and resolved
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve systems and processes
