Summary Of Position The Global Compliance Monitoring Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of Dentsply Sirona's global compliance monitoring program as well as ensuring it's robustness, effectiveness, and comprehensiveness. Accordingly, the role will play a critical role in administering the company's annual compliance risk assessment and will utilize information from that and other processes to inform the strategic design and administration of the compliance monitoring framework, collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders. This collaboration is vital to provide assurance on key compliance controls and processes, drive continuous improvement in the program, and effectively mitigate compliance risks.
The Global Compliance Monitoring Manager will play a crucial role in safeguarding operational efficiency, upholding compliance with applicable laws and regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of ethical conduct and accountability within the organization. Their expertise and actions will be fundamental to reinforcing the company's commitment to legal and regulatory compliance and will contribute significantly to the trust and confidence placed in our products and services by customers worldwide.
Duties And Responsibilities - Designs and implements a comprehensive compliance monitoring framework that aligns with the organization's risk profile and regulatory requirements.
- Develops a strategic plan for the rollout of the compliance monitoring program, including setting short-term and long-term goals.
- Develops, implements, and periodically reviews and update policies and procedures for the operation of the Company's global compliance monitoring program.
- Conducts annual and ongoing compliance risk assessment processes based on business organization, relevant industry regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Develops a risk-based approach to prioritize monitoring activities and allocate resources effectively.
- Establishes mechanisms for transactional testing and monitoring for areas related to improper payments and third-party risks including business courtesies, high risk payments, commissions and discounts, onboarding screening and diligence and other processes.
- Understands and identifies any breakdowns against current procedures as well as highlight risks and control gaps.
- Conducts regular and ad-hoc compliance monitoring reviews and related projects across various business units to ensure adherence to internal and external compliance standards.
- Collaborates with the global Ethics & Compliance team to identify, document, and remediate any compliance issues or deviations identified during monitoring.
- Serves as the primary contact for all compliance monitoring-related inquiries and provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Supervises ongoing surveillance and monitoring activities to proactively detect and prevent compliance breaches.
- Regularly updates compliance monitoring strategies and practices in line with evolving global regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Utilizes data analytics to enable efficient and risk-based testing.
- Compiles and presents detailed compliance monitoring reports for the relevant stakeholders including the Ethics & Compliance department and senior management.
Education Experience - 5-7 years' experience within the regulated industry in a multinational environment, preferably in the Life Sciences/Healthcare/Medical Device industry.
Required Computer Skills - Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
