Job Description:

As the Sales Head for our Oral Care Brand in India, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our brand presence and driving sales growth in this strategic market. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing sales strategies, building a high-performance sales team, and establishing strong partnerships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Entry Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive market entry strategy for the oral care brand in India, including market analysis, segmentation, and positioning.

  2. Sales Strategy: Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, market share growth, and brand recognition.

  3. Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives and providing guidance to ensure team success.

  4. Channel Development: Identify and establish relationships with distributors, retailers, and key partners to expand the brand's presence across India.

  5. Product Promotion: Develop and execute marketing and promotional campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive product sales.

  6. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and consumer preferences, providing insights to guide product development and marketing efforts.

  7. Budget Management: Manage the sales budget effectively, optimizing resources to maximize ROI.

  8. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.

  9. Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for senior management.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  2. Proven experience in senior sales or business development roles within the consumer goods industry, preferably in the oral care sector.
  3. Strong understanding of the Indian oral care market, consumer behavior, and regulatory landscape.
  4. Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performance sales teams.
  5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  7. Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for brand building.
  8. Fluency in English and proficiency in local languages as required.
  9. Willingness to travel within India as needed.
