Structural Design Engineer Gurugram (Haryana)
Job Responsibilities Deliver structural engineering services that meet Tractebel, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget. Sound technical knowledge, thorough knowledge of all related codes and construction details is desired. Knowledge of Reinforced concrete & Structural steel design. Experience in designing Industrial structures, Commercial structures, designing of building, Water retaining structures like overhead tanks & underground tanks, pumping stations, Sewage treatment plant structures, pipe racks, pipe supports, complex structures, Culverts, Storm water Drains, etc. as per Indian & International codes. Prepare design calculations & assist team in preparing design drawings, review design calculations and design drawings across broad range of commercial, industrial & infrastructure projects. Participate in relevant project progress meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures Provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Tractebel and its Customers’ requirements. Assist and support junior personnel within the structural engineering team. Communicate effectively with the structural engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in structural engineering. Job Requirements · M. Tech. in Structural Engineering · Minimum 5-6 Years’ experience Able to independently initiate, manage and if required supervise structural engineering project requirements. Project experience in Infrastructure, Transportation, Rail/ Metro, Airport, industrial, aviation sectors will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Indian codes is mandatory. Familiarity with US, BS, Euro codes is advantage. Working knowledge of current industry software, like Staad pro, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of 3D BIM softwares like Revit, Tekla will be an added advantage Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Job tags
