Job description
The Operations Lead acts as an operational leader to a team of individuals supporting local channel partners and their advertising partners by reviewing local brand enhancing advertising according to requirements, verifying qualifying fund utilization, reviewing required POP against guidelines, reviewing tax invoices and managing rebate incentives.
This is a hybrid position and you will be expected to work in the office 3-4 days per week.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities - Mentor your team to identify strengths and areas of opportunity, provide both positive and constructive feedback, and provide training opportunities to ensure that personnel are focused and motivated to reach the next level
- Track and act upon group and team KPI's and team member performance. Write performance reviews and monthly 1:1s. Lead daily team huddles. Manage team PTO.
- Manage a positive, proactive, operations-oriented environment
- Apply lean daily management principles, to achieve and maintain productivity and quality standards. Closely monitor that goals and SLAs are met.
- Anticipate internal hurdles and course-correct to prevent inefficiency in workflow
- Proactively communicate internally and externally to keep all key stakeholders updated on program progress and performance
- Compile, analyze and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Work closely with other regional leads to manage program(s)
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned client program and develop a deep understanding of program guidelines and operational processes
- Partner with internal training team to onboard new employees
- Lead quality assurance activities for your team
- Contribute to daily production activities when volume dictates
Education/Experience Required - Bachelor's degree. Some outside training/continuing education within the field of management is a plus.
- 12 months+ in the current or related role
- Ability to lead, measure success against goals, and challenge team members in an honest, open, and constructive style
- Strong math, written and verbal communication skills, as well as proven problem-solving and multi-tasking ability
- Ability to organize work, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional client and customer service background
- Comfortable solving conflict internally and externally
- Some technical experience (administrative, data hierarchy structures, website configurations, Office 365 applications)
- Fluent production and comprehension of oral and written English
