Job description
Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems and equipment.
Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, alignment, and calibration.
Overhaul and repair machinery and mechanical components as needed
Identify and diagnose mechanical problems through visual inspections and testing.
Utilize various tools and equipment to determine the root cause of equipment malfunctions.
Develop and implement solutions to resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures.
Create maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with them.
Replace worn-out parts and components proactively to prevent breakdowns
Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Document all work performed, including parts used and hours spent.
Keep up-to-date maintenance logs and report
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
Ensure that equipment meets safety standards and regulations.
Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team
Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
Procure necessary parts and materials for maintenance and repairs.
Optimize spare parts inventory to minimize costs while ensuring availability
Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvement.
