Specialist, IT Risk & Compliance - Third Party Risk Assessment

 

The Specialist, IT Risk and Compliance - Third Party Risk Assessment is responsible for ensuring the IT Controls are working as designed and Compliance is met. The incumbent is able to interact with internal and external stakeholders and provide support and guidance around IT policies, risk and compliance. This role will evaluate the cybersecurity controls that our service providers and suppliers have in place, by supporting in executing third party cybersecurity risk assessments. In addition, this individual will evaluate, identify and communicate cyber security risks related to our customer and business sensitive information. Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to create project plans, track milestones, & closeout initiatives.

Physical Demands:

Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

 

Typical Experience:

4 to 6 years experience with cybersecurity, third party risk management, IT Risk and Compliance, IT Audit, Information Security or Assurance. 

 

Typical Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field. 

Available security courses around security and compliance.
