Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules' firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
Must Have:
. 12+ years in software development using Object Oriented design, C++ and STL
. Knowledge of C++11 or newer standard
. Good programming skills in either OS (Windows, MacOS) and readiness to deepen skills in both
. Senior enough to be able to drive assignments to completion with little or no supervision
. Good debugging and troubleshooting skills
. Initiative taker and hard worker
. Readiness to contribute to cross-platform C++ libraries and applications (Windows, MacOS)
. Performance optimization experience is a must
. Experience with multithreading is a must
Desirable skills:
. Real-time programming experience is a big plus
. Low level system/driver development experience is a big plus
. Understanding of professional audio standards is highly desirable (file formats, time code, etc.)
. Some level of experience with audio or video editing, signal processing, or music technology
. We are looking for experienced C/C++ architect to develop new feature and drive performance improvements changes in a leading audio editing software.
. You will work on challenging projects to bring User Experience to a new level of satisfaction.
. We follow industry trends and upgrade our dev tools and code base to comply with latest C++ standards, so you will stay on top of C++ community developments.
. As a software architect, you will support existing customers, as well as new prospects, partner with managers and sales representatives on GL side in the pre-sales activities, analysis of customer needs, creation of proposals, launching new work streams, estimation of future work impacting team
. Define cross-system architecture in coordination with other Tech Leads and Architects
. Take the lead on solving and implementing difficult technology challenges and drive the team to successful delivery
. Ensure long-term software quality, scalability, and maintainability
. Assist with technical resolution of issues on mission-critical production and development systems
