Job description
Position Objective:
The employee is responsible for leading the team of IT Professionals from the field of NOC, Networking & All Data Center equipment and providing guidance and support to the team members on the following technologies along with working on continual improvement of the IT infrastructure –1. Routing (LAN/WAN), Networking and Switching 2. Security · UTM Devices, Firewalls, Antivirus solutions 3. Telecom (PBX / ACD) incl Avaya, Aspect, Altitude and US & India telecommunication links ( basic working knowledge of any one of the platform is required ) 4. Server Support including Mail Services, Active Directory Services, Antivirus, Security, WSUS, and related technologies ( basic understanding of concept is required ) Escalation Handling, supporting the NOC team for all escalations related to Clients, vendors etc. DR and BCP Support Key Responsibilities 1. Level 3 Support on current IT Infrastructure 2. Monitoring Health of the Network, Servers and Telecom resources 3. Coordination with Vendors and Partners for all outages till resolution as per SLAs 4. Provide the Interface for Clients, Vendors and Partners for all new installations, maintenance, upgrades and outages 5. New Technology (Product / Services) evaluations and deployments 6. Improvements in the IT Infrastructure and deploying industry best Practices 7.
