General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Very strong in C/C++ & Python programming. Good knowledge in algorithm development and data structures. Experience with embedded systems development or equivalent. Understanding of software development and debugging in embedded environments. Excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation, written). Good understanding on image processing concepts and frameworks like OpenCV and Matlab etc. Hands on experience in Neon, OpenCL coding.
To Develop imaging algorithms on Qualcomm AI hardware accelerators (CPU, GPU and DSP). To develop demos by integrating image preprocessing and post processing techniques with AI/ML execution pipeline on Android/Linux. Optimize algorithm execution time on CPU,GPU/DSP, to achieve better performance.
Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science Engineering, or
Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Minimum Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Familiar in developing on algorithms using OpenCL, Hexagon and Neon intrinsic. Knowledge in mathematical operations: linear algebra, fast math libraries. Good understanding on image processing concepts and frameworks like OpenCV and Matlab etc.
