Job Description: · PCB Design: Design and develop multilayered, high-density PCB layouts utilizing industry-standard design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics PADS). · Schematic Capture: Create clear and concise schematic diagrams based on engineering requirements and system architecture. · Component Selection: Work closely with hardware engineers to select appropriate components based on performance, cost, and availability considerations. · Design Optimization: Optimize PCB layouts for signal integrity, power integrity, thermal management, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). · Design Verification: Conduct thorough design reviews and simulations to validate the integrity and functionality of PCB layouts prior to fabrication. · Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements, resolve design challenges, and incorporate feedback into PCB designs. · Manufacturability: Ensure that PCB designs comply with industry standards and best practices for manufacturability, assembly, and testing. · Documentation: Generate comprehensive documentation, including assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and bill of materials (BOM), to support the PCB manufacturing and assembly process. · Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies in PCB design and actively contribute to process improvements and best practices. Desired qualification: · Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics Engineering, or related field. · Proven experience (5 years) in PCB design and layout for complex power electronics systems. · Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, PADS, etc. · Knowledge of PCB fabrication processes and materials. · Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for test (DFT) principles. · Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles. · Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for PCB layout, signal integrity, and EMC compliance. · Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills. · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment. · Certification in PCB design or any related field will be an added benefit.Job tags
