Job description
Job Objective: The profile is responsible for ensuring effective liaisoning and establishing controls with banks / financial institutions. The profile will be responsible for : Relationship building with Banks at working level to expedite the proposals in order to meet business requirements. Coordinating and directing the documentation process with close coordination with BU’s and corporate finance team. Accountability for determining the terms and conditions of the funding proposal, analysis, and valuations. Annual Forecast & MIS
Strategy Development - Ensuring effective capital management to drive business results. Analytical ability to draw the capital at the apt time which shall be most useful to business and ensure optimum output. Review of existing and forecasted capital on periodical basis. Review and implementation process methodology in line with business objectives. Discussion and Interaction with Banks / Financial Institutions for fund raising proposals across businesses. Experience in negotiating on sanction letters and Financing documents and achievement of Financial Closure. Discussions on any issues related to availment of facility and amicable resolution of the same with close coordination with BU Finance. Action plan and tracking for closure for pending items during monthly review. Drive compliance of all F&A policies and guidelines within the business. Drive performance improvement /capital generation initiatives coming out of FP&A. Support CFO in business planning and strategic decisions in funds or identifying lenders. Prepare and Review of data pertaining to dealings with lenders. Review of business case and Due Diligence of proposed deals. Preparation of STRAP presentation for Business and period update of the same. Stakeholder Engagement- Liaison with PSB/NBFC/Pvt Banks and Preparation of Proposal Note / IM / Presentation Assist the Lenders (Bank branch & HO) in processing the proposal on proposed term. Regular follow up with lenders (Bank branch & HO) for putting up proposal to their respective authorities. Coordinate with Lenders/Legal Counsels for documentation. Drive Continuous Improvement Projects to bring efficiency and controls in F&A processes. Preparation / coordination with Business for preparation of Internal MIS related to vertical for presenting it to Management. People Development- Create development plan for all the team members Review development plan and Guide team Build and develop F&A team capabilities through coaching/mentoring/Training Qualifications: Post-graduate qualification in Commerce, Business or related areas, / CA / CFA Experience: 12 + years of experience in Finance 5 + years exposure to infrastructure business, preferably in the Energy or Logistics sector String negotiation and stakeholder partnering skills.
