Key Responsibilities - Assist in the development and maintenance of analytics models related to customer income prediction, credit risk, and loan performance.
- Conduct data collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis.
- Collaborate with senior team members to understand business challenges and contribute to data-driven solutions.
- Prepare reports and visualizations to communicate findings to various stakeholders.
- Support the team in ad-hoc analysis and data requests.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in analytics and home finance.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
- At-least 3 years of professional experience in a data analysis or related role. Prior experience in the financial services sector, particularly in home finance, mortgage lending, or related fields, is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability in statistical analysis and familiarity with basic machine learning concepts. Ability to apply quantitative techniques to solve real-world problems.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R. Experience with Excel for advanced data manipulation and analysis is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to think critically and provide data-backed insights.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex analysis to a non-technical audience
- High level of intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in or knowledge of the home finance sector.
- Basic understanding of Indian financial regulations and compliance standards.
