Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Business Partnering:

    • Collaborate closely with hospital leadership and department heads to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
    • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support effective decision-making.
  2. Talent Management and Development:

    • Lead talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment strategies, and selection processes to attract top talent.
    • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and foster career growth opportunities.
    • Identify high-potential employees and implement succession planning initiatives to ensure continuity of leadership.
  3. Employee Relations and Performance Management:

    • Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
    • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  4. HR Policy and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as healthcare industry standards and accreditation requirements.
    • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that promote a positive work culture and support employee engagement and retention.
  5. Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Utilize HR analytics and data-driven insights to identify trends, measure HR effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for hospital leadership on HR metrics, workforce demographics, and other key performance indicators.
