Omnivio is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping to collect, store, and analyse large sets of data to identify trends and insights and design and implement data-driven solutions. Your data analysis and problem-solving abilities will be key to identifying areas for improvement, reducing costs, and providing end-to-end visibility at the Operations level, PnL levels, sales etc. to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a background in handling large data sets and creating data models, preferably with a background in supply chain, marketplace, or e-commerce
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of Data models and designing data structures by studying API and raw data
- Ensuring that the data is accurate and high-quality
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Developing and managing data systems and databases – Schema Management
- Establishing KPIs that provide actionable insights via Data Transformation
- Using data to analyse trends that help inform business policies and decisions
- Collaborating with engineers and developers to develop and streamline data governance strategies
- Utilize your expertise in analytical tools, including SQL, Advanced Excel, BI tools, Tableau, Databases, and preferred scripting skills in Python, Zoho, and Metabase, to gather and analyze supply chain data effectively.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience (2-5 years) as a Data Analyst or in a similar role with a demonstrated track record of data-driven supply chain/ecommerce related improvements
- Strong Knowledge of SQL is a must and Python or other related languages is a plus
- Expertise in data mining, analysis, and reporting, with a solid understanding of analytical tools.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of business acumen.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex insights to diverse stakeholders.
- Outstanding organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
