We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with experience in managing and scaling cloud-based infrastructure, with proficiency in continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring. The candidate should be capable of managing our ECS nginx clusters and ensuring high availability and performance for both our iOS application and associated web services. Responsibilities: Manage and optimize AWS ECS clusters, and implement strategies for high availability, scaling, and disaster recovery. Maintain and enhance our CI/CD pipelines for swift and consistent deployments. Work with API services, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and performant. Collaborate with the development team to align architecture with development needs. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide proactive solutions to prevent downtime. Ensure robust security measures are in place to protect sensitive data and comply with industry standards. Automate routine operational tasks to increase efficiency and reduce human error. Document the infrastructure and create a knowledge base for ongoing maintenance and scaling. Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies and suggest implementations that can improve system performance and user experience. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong background in AWS, specifically ECS and nginx. Expertise in infrastructure as code, preferably with tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git (GitHub). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar. Understanding of load balancing, networking, and security best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Previous experience with mobile application deployment (iOS/Swift) is a plus.Job tags
