Job description
Responsibilities:
- Media Sales:
- Identify and engage potential clients for media advertising opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Meet and exceed sales targets for media space and airtime.
- Publication Sales:
- Promote and sell advertising space in print and digital publications.
- Collaborate with editorial teams to align advertising with content and target audience.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of advertisements in publications.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Understand clients advertising needs and propose effective solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service to build longterm relationships.
- Address client concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Market Research:
- Stay updated on industry trends competitor activities and market demands.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities.
- Sales Presentations:
- Create compelling and persuasive sales presentations.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of advertising in our media channels.
- Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of sales activities.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in media sales with a focus on advertising space.
- Familiarity with publication sales both print and digital.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Goaloriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of market trends and industry dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field (preferred).
