Job Title: Design Engineer - Oil & Gas Equipment (Mud Tank System, Tanks, Skids, Piping, Vessels)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer with expertise in the fabrication of drilling mud tank systems, tanks, skids, piping, vessels, and other oil and gas-related products. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design and development of equipment that meets industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceptual Design:
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand design requirements for drilling mud tank systems, tanks, skids, piping, vessels, and related oil and gas equipment.
• Develop conceptual designs that balance functionality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Detailed Engineering:
• Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for fabrication.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
Material Selection and Procurement:
• Collaborate with procurement teams to select appropriate materials for fabrication, considering factors such as durability, corrosion resistance, and cost-efficiency.
• Evaluate and approve material certifications to meet quality standards.
Fabrication Support:
• Provide technical support to the fabrication team throughout the manufacturing process.
• Resolve design-related issues that may arise during fabrication, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
Quality Assurance:
• Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that fabricated products meet design specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections and reviews to verify the integrity of fabricated components.
Documentation:
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Maintain accurate records of design changes and project iterations.
Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, procurement, and fabrication teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Design Engineer in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on the fabrication of drilling mud tank systems, tanks, skids, piping, vessels, etc.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes related to oil and gas equipment fabrication.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
Minimum of [3] years of experience in the design and fabrication of oil and gas equipment.
Experience with drilling mud tank systems is highly desirable.
