Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies. 

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.

· Identify potential suppliers & establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

· Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

· Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies.

· Analyze pricing proposals and total cost of ownership to make informed purchasing decisions.

· Implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or service.

· Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize excess or obsolete stock.

· Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly.

· Collaborate with internal departments, such as engineering and production to understand their procurement needs.

· Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates and reports on procurement activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/ Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
