Join us as our new Fermentation Operator You will work as a team member on production equipment to make beneficial bacteria that are used in a wide range of applications across the globe to make the world a more sustainable place. In This Role You'll Make An Impact By - Operating and cleaning production equipment like fermenters, centrifuges, and spray dryer
- Maintaining clean production environment by learning and implementing hygiene and GMP practices
- Using computer skills to communicate, track information, and complete inventory transactions
- Actively caring about workplace safety and being an engaged participant in our safety culture
- Helping facilitate a process of continuous improvement by learning and applying LEAN manufacturing concepts
- Filling out and documenting process paperwork
- Maintaining a positive attitude and sustaining a level of diligence and passion about your work
To Succeed You Must - Hold a valid driver's license
- Have a HS diploma or GED equivalent (higher education - college degree - is heavily preferred, especially in applicable fields such as Biology, Engineering, etc.)
- Be able to walk up and down steps consistently, and work at elevated heights
- Be able to maintain physical mobility (bend, turn, reach, etc. consistently through work shift)
- Be able to lift and manipulate up to 50 lbs. consistently
- Have good computer skills - knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications, email, web based applications, etc.
- Be wiling to work nights and weekends with 12 hour shifts
