Position: Senior Project Manager – Batch Tyre Pyrolysis Plant Expansion
Location: Office in Chennai, India. Project Locations: Chittoor, India / South Africa

Our growth strategy includes enhancing our existing facility in Chittoor, India, and establishing a new presence in South Africa.
Role Overview: We are in search of an exceptional Senior Project Manager with a robust background in project management within the pyrolysis, waste management, or related sustainable energy domains. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading our ambitious Batch Tyre Pyrolysis Plant expansion projects in Chittoor and South Africa. This role demands a dynamic leader with a proven track record in overseeing large-scale international projects from start to finish.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the planning and execution of plant expansion projects in both locations, ensuring completion within the set timelines, scope, and budget.
- Craft a comprehensive project plan to monitor progress, making adjustments as needed to cater to evolving needs and requirements.
- Lead and coordinate efforts across various teams, including engineering, construction, finance, legal, and operations, to guarantee smooth project progression.
- Act as the main liaison for all project stakeholders, including investors, government entities, and local communities, ensuring transparent communication and engagement.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project hazards and ensure adherence to all regulatory, standard, and environmental guidelines.
- Oversee the procurement process, including the selection, negotiation, and management of contracts with contractors and suppliers.
- Regularly update senior management and stakeholders on project status, challenges faced, and strategic recommendations.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility throughout project operations.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, with a Master’s degree or professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing significant projects, ideally within the waste management or sustainable energy sectors.
- Deep knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools, with proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of managing and inspiring diverse teams and stakeholders across different geographies.
- Experience navigating complex regulatory environments and ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices.
- Flexibility for frequent travel between project sites in Chittoor and South Africa is required.
