Position: Speech Therapist
Interview Mode: Face to Face Job Locations: Gurgaon Experience: 1+ Year Qualification: BASLP Salary: Up to INR 50,000/- Job Description Conducting Assessments: The speech therapist will be responsible for conducting assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders. The child patients will have Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Misarticulation, and motor skills issues/conditions. The speech therapist will use a variety of tools and techniques to evaluate a patient's speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing abilities. Providing Therapy: The Speech therapist will provide therapy to patients to help them improve their communication and swallowing abilities. Therapy may be provided one-on-one or in a group setting, depending on the patient's needs. Monitoring Progress: The Speech therapist will monitor the patient's progress throughout treatment and make adjustments to the treatment plan as needed. He/She also provides feedback to the patient and their family members on their progress. Developing Treatment Plans: Based on the assessment results and discussion with an expert therapist, the speech therapist will develop individualized treatment plans to address the patient's specific needs. Treatment plans may include exercises to improve speech and language skills, strategies to improve communication, and techniques to improve swallowing. Collaborating with Other Healthcare Professionals: The Speech therapists work closely with other healthcare professionals in the Centre, such as the Director, Sr / Physiotherapists, Sr/ Occupational therapists, and panel doctors, to provide comprehensive care to patients. Excellent Communication Skills: Speech therapists must have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and their families. Patience And Empathy: Speech therapists must be patient and empathetic towards their patients, especially those with communication and swallowing disorders. Analytical Skills: Speech therapists must have strong analytical skills to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders and develop effective treatment plans. Interpersonal Skills: Speech therapists must have strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
