Job Overview

The Planning Lead role at DCS Group is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. As a Planning Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth. This role is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India and is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in strategic planning or related roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proficient in using strategic planning tools and software
• Knowledge of the educational and career consulting industry is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify business opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing and sales strategies
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in strategic planning

Construction Industry

Profile - Planning lead 

Qualification - B.Tech - civil

Salary - upto 7.5 Lac CTC 

Experience - Min. 3+ yrs (in a Project Planning role within the construction industry.), PMP / PSP or APICS Certification in PPC will be an added advantage.

Job Description

Create detailed project schedules using specialized software (such as Primavera

P6, Microsoft Project) to outline the sequence of activities, timelines, and

milestones for the construction project.

Allocate resources like manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors

based on project needs and timelines.

Optimize resource utilization to ensure efficient project execution.

Identify potential risks that could impact the project schedule.

Develop strategies to mitigate risks, considering factors such as weather

conditions, unforeseen delays, or material shortages.

Regularly monitor project progress against the planned schedule.

Identify deviations and propose corrective actions to keep the project on track.

Maintain detailed records of project schedules, changes, delays, and other

relevant information.

Generate reports for stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and

potential issues.

Collaborate with the cost management team or Quantity Surveyor Team to align

schedules with budgets.

Monitor expenses related to scheduling changes or delays.

Analyze past projects to identify areas for improvement in scheduling, resource

allocation, or process efficiency.
