Job Requirements: Purpose of the Job – State concisely the aim of the job. The Head of Applications aims to oversee both BUILD and RUN aspects on the different application and data domains transversally at global or regional level. He / she develops new solutions to address a business opportunity, working alongside various stakeholders, from business requirements and strategy through planning and completion. As such, the Head of activity animates, coordinates and manages the Head of domains that contribute to building and running the IS&T application and data projects. He/She is a force of proposition in the implementation of projects and guarantees the delivery of solutions on time, on budget and with high standards of quality. The Head of Applications steers, facilitates, coordinates and manages all application and data domains to reach the set objectives defined in the global Applications Management strategy with the input of Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Management and Security. He/she is a force to propose large IT evolutions aligned to the global IT strategy defined by the IT leadership under the group CIO. The Head of Applications is responsible for the integration of all applications and data systems to deliver strong, cost effective, evolutive and sustainable solutions that meet the requirements of the business. This requires integration of global solutions with regional ones as well as Sodexo internal systems with external solutions (payment services, customer systems). The Head of Applications is responsible for managing the right sourcing of IT resources required to deliver the Applications management activities, in alignment with and leveraging the global strategic partners, by developing strong offshore capabilities to delivery cost efficient support and drive continuous innovation. The Head of Applications develops and enforces policies and processes in the respective area. Prepares and tracks the budget (CAPEX and OPEX). Proposes continuous improvements in process to improve efficiencies and cost reduction. Has knowledge of IT Operations, Infrastructure and Security so as to manage the entire team as a backup to the IS&T Director. He/she participates of defining the sourcing strategy and implement it. He/she is accountable of IT delivery.
