Job Description :- Candidate should have good hands on experience in DP.- Candidate should be strong understanding of BW related object eg info object, DSO, Info cube etc.- Should have experience in understanding the extraction of flow of data from BI to APO and ECC to APO.- Candidate should be comfortable in planning area creation, planning book data view creation and writing macro in APO DP.- Candidate should have understanding in the overall flow of demand from ECC to APO and from APO back to ECC in terms of planned independent requirement.- Candidate must be able to individually handle Demand planning development and support without any help.- Candidate must be comfortable in moving APO solution related to planning area , planning book info cube etc from development to production APO system.Responsibilities : Demand Planning : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze demand data, historical sales trends, and market intelligence to develop accurate demand forecasts. Forecasting Models : - Utilize SAP APO DP tools and methodologies to create and maintain forecasting models. Continuously improve models by incorporating relevant data and adjusting parameters for better accuracy. Data Analysis : - Conduct in-depth analysis of demand-related data, identify patterns, and provide insights to support business decisions. - Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and address data-related challenges. Collaboration : - Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment of demand plans with overall business strategies. - Facilitate communication and information flow between different departments. Master Data Management : - Ensure accuracy and consistency of master data related to demand planning within the SAP APO system. - Monitor and update data to reflect changes in business processes or market conditions. Performance Monitoring : - Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning. - Implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure that forecast accuracy and other relevant metrics meet or exceed established targets. Training and Support : - Provide training and support to end-users on SAP APO DP functionalities. - Assist in troubleshooting issues, resolving errors, and optimizing the use of the system.
