Job description

Duties and responsibilities Social studies courses draw from a wide spectrum of disciplines – anthropology, archaeology, economics, geography, history, law, philosophy, political science, psychology, religion and sociology – to educate students in the fundamentals of the humanities, history and social sciences. Qualifications Minimum qualification required for applying for the post of Social studies teacher is: A Bachelor or Master degree in (B.A / M.A) in Arts / History along with B. Ed is the basic required qualification. A minimum experience of 5 years working in a English medium school. Knowledge of computers and developing digital content for the subject

Skills required Strong literacy skills:

which would help the teacher to differentiate the facts and opinions, arrange events in chronological orders determine the authors purpose, analyze cause and effect relations, determine and analyze differences and similarities etc. Critical thinking skills :
