General Summary The Clinical Application Specialist’s (CAS) role is to train customer sites and users through onboard development and in-field training in order to drive adoption of all company products and support both sales and user success. The CAS will oversee and provide support in the areas of customer education, training and activation including ongoing monitoring and support. The CAS shall be further responsible for in field sales demonstrations when necessary, and future clinical applications development. The CAS may resolve customer satisfaction issues as assigned and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Must have a high level of English language skills, both verbal and written. Responsibilities Customer Training and Activation · Provide pre-installation and post-installation clinical application support of high-resolution clinical ultrasound equipment · Develop and provide training for our customers on the use of newly acquired equipment · Develop and provide training as necessary for further team members Customer Support and Monitoring · The CAS will be responsible for continuous and ongoing customer support and monitoring of the customers technical and performance needs, including both technique and image analysis monitoring with corrective action as required Pre Sales Demonstrations · The CAS will be required to provide pre-Sales demonstrations of ExactVu™ ultrasound equipment and related clinical applications for prospective customers · Travel to and participate in trade shows, conferences and workshops as subject matter expert on high-resolution clinical ultrasound imaging techniques and applications. · Interaction with Sales Managers to manage customer expectations and facilitate the sale of systems Marketing Support · Prepare for and attendance at tradeshows, symposiums and other customer gatherings · Assist marketing with image atlas, website and brochure development as required Travel · Ability to travel mainly domestically but also internationally approximately 70% - 80% of working time as required · Valid passport required allowing travel to North America and Europe with minimal visa restrictions, training will be facilitated in Europe Other · Other duties as assigned by Management Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required Education: · Graduate from post-secondary program in the fields of Clinical Sonography (preferred), Medical Imaging, Biomedical/Clinical Engineering, Biophysics, Nursing Knowledge/Experience: · Minimum 3 years progressive clinical Ultrasound imaging experience · Management experience preferred · Adult Education experience preferred · Experience in medical software and knowledge in imaging applications is required Proficiency in using general office productivity software (Microsoft Office, etc) for communication and documentation purposes Experience working with ISO 9001/13485 quality standard desirable Skills: Management and leadership skills Balanced, flexible, but determined Problem solving skills Excellent presentation skills Ability to execute training curriculum and professionally deal with a diverse set of problematic circumstances that surround difficult, demanding customer situations in a friendly and constructive manner · Desire to gain professional growth and exposure to medical device industry Ability to travel approximately 70% - 80% of working time as require including overnight travel.
