Job description
SUMMARY
As a RealPage business analyst, you will help create, maintain, and grow our multifamily SaaS product offerings and integration capabilities. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis through stakeholder & customer engagement and documenting them. To succeed in this role, you should be able to explain complex business concepts to technical stakeholders and non-technical stakeholders alike.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work as a liaison between customer-facing, product, engineering, and implementation teams to assist the product manager in managing product requirements.
- Work directly with the product manager to analyze and gain clarity on product requirements.
- Conduct requirement feasibility analysis along UX design and engineering teams to identify potential roadblocks and highlight them to the product manager.
- Translate product requirements into epics and features and further break them down into smaller work items that deliver business value.
- Follow RealPage's requirement documentation practices to document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Lead backlog refinement and grooming sessions to ensure clarity of requirements to engineering teams.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies to resolve any queries the engineering teams have.
- Review test cases written by the engineering team to ensure proper test coverage.
- Conduct regular product demos to internal and client facing teams.
- Create documentation collaterals for the features built.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- A bachelor's degree in business or information systems or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to demonstrate product capabilities to a varied audience.
- Experience with at least one user interface design tool.
- Experience with SAFe Agile and Scrum
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A history of following through on commitments.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
