Job description
Job Title- PLSQL Developer Designation-Specialist- Data Engineering Job Description- • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain database software, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Create and manage database instances, tablespaces, and data files. Perform regular backups and recovery procedures to protect data integrity. Monitor and tune database performance, including identifying and resolving bottlenecks. • Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard the databases against unauthorized access and data breaches. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data protection and privacy. Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions to control access to the databases. • Database Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor database performance using various tools and techniques. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize SQL queries, and fine-tune database parameters to enhance system responsiveness and efficiency. Analyze and interpret database performance metrics to make recommendations for improvement. • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of database configurations, procedures, and processes. Prepare reports on database performance, capacity planning, and system availability. Communicate findings, recommendations, and status updates to management and stakeholders. PLSQL Development:- On Development side: minimum 5+ yrs PL/SQL hands-on experience and handled and implemented complex routines. CI/CD and deployment automation and DB unit testing skills as mandatory. Candidate Specifications: • Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline • Excellent knowledges with Oracle DB - Proven working experience as a Database Administrator . • In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, administration, and performance tuning • Experience in tools: Github, Jenkins, Ansible,K8s etc • Able to work with colleagues from different locations and different culture. • Incident/Crisis management and Problem-solving experience is required. • Financial institution experience and Interbank payment system experience is preferred. • Oracle certifications and CPSDBA are a plus
