Job description
- Work with the sales department head to reach out and procure corporate and MICE business from the predefined target market
- Implement all sales action plans related to the respective market (by segment and geographical locations) as outlined in the Marketing plan.
- Closely monitor account revenue and business production for Corporate / FIT / M.I.C.E. accounts.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
- Provide quick and timely responses and immediate communication to the clients, and develop professional long-term business relationships.
- Develop a good understanding of the booking engine and other sales tools used at the organisation
- Liaison with key wedding planners in the target market
- Create daily productivity reports like DSR
- Closely follow up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients.
- Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices and seal contracts.
- Assist the Sales head in the forecasting of rooms revenue and ATR for Corporate / FIT / M.I.C.E. / LSG (Long Staying Guests) groups.
- Secure information on market trends and share it with the sales head regularly.
- Follow up on billing and payments related to their own clients.
- Report to the sales head on potential markets needing coverage.
Candidate requirement:
- Qualification – Bachelor's degree in hospitality/BCOM with relevant experience in hospitality.
- Smart and Pleasing personality
