"Max Life Insurance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and promotes inclusion and diversity." _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Job Summary: • Act as a catalyst in driving controls through continuous proactive identification of frauds & process/ system gaps across functions including Sales, Operations, Underwriting, Policy Owner Services & Claims. • Provide assurance to the Management by enabling business teams in driving culture of ethical sales and improved business quality by providing independent assurance through sample testing leading to improvement in control environment. • Manage Continuous Transaction Assurance Program to test effectiveness of mortality controls through selection and review of high risks manually underwritten business cohorts and manually decided claims. • Lead data analytics to develop and test high risk transactions using advanced data analytical tools & query languages to proactively detect mortality and market frauds and process violations. • Desing, develop and maintain critical key Dashboards, MIS of FPCU for Senior Management. • Guide, mentor and develop data analytics team members. • Assist Head FPCU in various data analytics related tasks. Key Responsibilities: 1. Management Assurance: a. Manage & update Continuous Transaction Assurance Program to test effectiveness of mortality controls through selection and review of high risks manually underwritten business cohorts and manually decided claims. b. Collaboration with Distribution & Operation functions like New Business, Underwriting, Claims, Training, IT, Compliance, Audit, IT on a strategic level to drive Management Assurance in the areas of Distribution, Market Conduct and Mortality Controls. c. Provide assurance to management on reliability of the sales management funnel by through and monitoring of quality & authenticity of sales governance reporting. d. Prepare updates on the significant outcomes to management and contribute towards the update to Risk / Audit Committee of the Board. 2. Build, operate & synchronize FPCU data. a. Creating FPCU database by merging, cleaning, and unifying various data sources and updating it at defined frequency. b. Build automated queries for generating/ throwing alerts for investigations. c. Designing, develop and automate dashboards and MIS for FPCU. Desired qualification and experience - B. Tech/ BCA / MCA or equivalent with 4-6 years of experience. - Background in Insurance/ Financial Industry. - Strong communication skills with external stakeholders and senior management. - Technical proficiency in handling SQL database queries. - Proven experience in cross-functional projects, contributing to project success. Key competencies/s kills required: - Experience in tools and systems on SQL Complex Queries, including Oracle, MS Sql Server and TSQL, ACL, MS Excel using complex formula, Python, VBA Coding and BI Tools - Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design - Collaboration and Stakeholder Management - Strategic and Analytical mindset - Problem solving ability - Willing to take multiple priorities (multi-tasking)- Domain knowledge of Insurance Industry - Negotiation skillJob tags
