Role and Responsibilities The ideal candidate should have proven inside sales experience and a track record of over-achieving quota. The role entails sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails, understanding customer needs and requirements, routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure, closing sales and achieving quarterly quotas. The position also requires the maintenance and expansion of the database of prospects within the assigned territory and effective teaming with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals. Lastly, performing effective online demos to prospects is also an important responsibility. Candidate Qualifications The candidate should have a strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day. They should also be proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools, experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM, excellent verbal and written communication skills, 2-4 years of experience in sales, and a problem-solving attitude and first-principles approach. The ideal candidate should be driven by working hard, being challenged in a fast-paced environment, and having fun while doing so. They should also possess a can-do attitude, passion for self-learning in fast-paced environments, and be result-oriented and self-motivated to quickly iterate to deliver desired outcomes.
