Hybrid Working 

Structured hybrid role:    
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home.  We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

Introduction:

As Client Reference Data Analyst, you will be required to perform data analysis and process transactions impacting the Entity records. You would be touching various Regulatory & Non-Regulatory critical data elements impacting the Entity record within agreed scope of the process. The role will involve independently managing workload and ensuring cases/entity records are reviewed as per agreed standard to maintain the Data Quality. Extensive review and research about entity in question on various entity resolution platforms is also a key element of the role. Cross skilling across multiple processes within the department is also an essential part of the role – Unified Client Hierarchy, Identity Service, Data Remediation and so forth as the department expands. Support will also be required towards playing a key role in contributing to team meetings, and working alongside colleagues in Chennai, Noida, United States and Glasgow. The successful applicant will undergo a training period on all processes and will also complete an accreditation process to ensure the correct decisions are being made. There will also be an opportunity to work on some technology initiatives and learn about the Bank as a whole and the offerings provided as the department expands.

What will you be doing?

•    Hit daily targets for case completions, to ensure there is no adverse impact to KYC processes & downstream systems. 
•    Perform extensive analysis on the Entity Data to drive meaningful conclusion. 
•    Identify issues and escalate to team lead, ensuring any risks are raised in a timely manner.
•    Support project activity, create time sensitive excel reports and ensuring UAT is carried out and completed successfully for new technology changes.
•    Adapt to new updates, change in procedure & continue to deliver on agreed targets. 
•    Provide handover status emails to Chennai, Noida, Unites States, Glasgow colleagues as agreed. 
•    Build relationship with offshore teams and ensure collaboration across both sites to enable success.

What we’re looking for:

•    Experience required in areas like Reference Data Services, Entity Account Opening & Closure, Corporate Action
•    Understanding of Corporate Investment Banking structure and construct 
•    Working knowledge of external verifications tools like Duns & Bradstreet, Companies House, Registries, Google etc
•    Ability to perform extensive data analysis, produce varied data cuts and perform data remediation activities. 
•    Analytical and complex problem solving being able to balance the need to meet regulatory and risk management requirements along with excellent client and colleague engagement.
•    Understanding of the various systems used within the Bank and an ability to demonstrate adaptability in using multiple systems. 
•    Ability to work with multiple stake holders & procure required approvals/information for completion of assigned task within expected TAT.
•    Ability to work seamlessly across multiple queues without compromising on quality & TAT. 
•    Demonstrated experience in a transformational environment, delivering mission critical systems and operations to support a dynamic business.
•    Proficiency in usage of excel & creating multiple data cuts and reports
•    Minimum education qualification - Graduate

•    Exposure to entity resolution platforms/Technologies like Quantexa would be an added advantage
